Energy Work is not witchcraft, or woo-woo, nor is it Religious in any way. It is an ancient form of non-invasive medicine deeply rooted in Indigenous cultures around the world; often used in conjunction with plants. The human body is an electrical system with positively and negatively charged particles; every experience you have ever had is stored in every cell of your body. Information (electricity) runs through channels, or meridians, in the body and can sometimes become blocked due to mental, physical, spiritual, or emotional stress or injury. Once the meridians are open, the body naturally balances.

Energy Work is simply tapping into the body's natural electrical currents for the purpose of unblocking specific connection points which in turn affects the body and mind physically. It is a process of allowing the nervous system to let go of stress, or injuries.

Energy Work may, or may not, involve physical touch and can be a good option for those who are touch adverse. Many modalities can be used as a stand-alone service but most can be combined with other modalities depending on what you desire to achieve.

There are hundreds of techniques, or modalities, of energy work available out there. Listed below are some of the modalities Roxanne uses during sessions:

  • Reiki I & II

  • Craniosacral Therapy

  • Quantum Healing

  • Distance Energy Healing

Most people like to schedule sessions as part of their regular self-care routines. If you are looking to create a new self-care routine, or rejuvenate an existing routine, starting with monthly or biweekly sessions is a supportive place to start. People who have experienced chronic trauma may need sessions as often as twice a week, it really just depends on the individual.

Reach out to Roxanne via the Contact page to discuss treatment goals and get you on the schedule today.

For in-person sessions, Roxanne will greet you at the door and show you to the treatment area to discuss health concerns or areas of focus for the day. There will be financial agreement forms and other administrative forms to fill out for Roxanne to keep on file. Having an active credit card on file is mandatory to scheduling appointments.

For online distance sessions, there will also be paperwork to fill out and send to Roxanne prior to your first appointment. Once the appropriate paperwork is filled out, health concerns and treatment goals can be discussed from there.

Depending on the issues released during or after Energy Work, you may cry, feel temporary discomfort, or nausea or feel a deep sense of calm, or euphoria. No matter what shows up, any and all feelings are considered a normal part of the healing process.

It is important to allow yourself time to relax after the session. It is not advised to run off to another activity to allow your body and mind the space and time needed to integrate the changes just made.
